what exactly are "weekly" challenges?

Game tells me to search in matchmaking, would be nice when it would found at least 1 game or when i could start a new one at least.....

It's a special game mode that will only be playable for a week. There are eight in total and beating one gets you a reward.

use server browser and select game mode "weekly". zeds explode when killed this week. you can also play a solo weekly challenge if all else fails.

Alternatively, you can use the server browser and pick "weekly" as gamemode. Make sure you have the difficulty set to either hard or any as the gamemode is restricted to hard.

It's not dead at all, I can easily find many matches running the weekly mode. Just make sure the filters are correct, as stated above. Game length is also fixed at 7 waves, so keep that in mind.

You can also just filter the browser by gamemode so there's that. Then find the one with the best ping and done.

hardmode finish we got mind blown yesterday, check inventory as it doesnt pop up saying you got it.

There is just Survival, People VS Zeds and VS Survival for me. No weekly.
