Don't buy the bow

I had just published to see if it seems to you if it is worth buying it or not.

Is the Compound Bow a very good weapon? Is it worth buying?

But I guess you made me change my mind. And I really like the weapon to be tier 5, but honestly I'm half bad at perfectly aiming heads and it's half risky in high difficulties.

I think I will buy these DLC weapons:

• Ion Thruster
  
• Rhino
  
• Mosin Nagant
  
• Riot Shield & Glock 18
  
• Compound Bow

mosin nagant and riot shild pack is ok on sale. My brother bought ion thruster and rhino. And they are also ok.
But the bow is useless.
Its looking really nice, maybe ok if you are casual player only playing normal/hard. But for harder difficulties... it dosnt also matter if you play single or multiplayer. It's not good!
Not even in combination with M14.

It is a bow, it is suppose to be slow.
Freeze is constant. It takes 2 consecutive freeze shots to freeze from my testing.
As a SS 2 freeze arrow and 3 regular arrow can take out a FP or SC at 6P HOE difficulty safely and easily.

In my opinion this weapon is a big zed weapon and a secondary weapon with a strong bash for self defense.

What you say is right yes. But 3 shots for a SC or FP from a sharp .... is safe? ... is good?
For a tier 5 weapon.
It is a big ZED weapon true... but its the weakest of all big zed sharp weapons.
With lower amo capacity then crossbow. Of course you can take the arrows from the ground, but this is nothing you can do easily in every map with every team.

Yeah it's not the best weapon.
The only thing I like about it is the additional ability to freeze to supplement your grenades without needing a freezethrower or winterbites which is useless outside of freezing big zeds.

sharpshooter is big zed killer, not trash zed killer. Leave that to swats and commandos.

As SS you should deal alot dmg, but not fast. It´s about hitting, not spamming.

I would love to buy the duo pack of the 2 weapons in each one. But the bad thing is that I live in Argentina and we have this stupid IVA that gives us the increase of 21% + 30% of the tourist dollar. Damn my country :(

So it would be much more expensive, around $ 2000 or $ 3000 or so. Too much if I buy the 5 dlc weapons.

But maybe you will see if I make a good price to buy the 4 pack duo.

And with respect to Bow, the truth of being tier 5, is very good against the greats. The bosses will cost if you do not hit the head or in vulnerable areas and the trash / medium will be more complicated.

The only reason to buy it would be:

• Fans of medieval weapons or the bow.
  
• Your favorite sharpshooter perk.
  
• For guys who shoot headshot perfectly.
  
• In search of challenges.
  
• For Fun.

@Serious - Ok I tried to go your way, but my mind prevented me from having to do it and since I could not take away the opportunity of the off that Tripwire gave us and I had to take advantage.

I buy all dlc weapons including bow. Thing you didn't want us to buy it.

Why did I do it? Well the truth is I have a serious problem and then I was calculating how much I was going to spend in total. And in the end I did it and well, more or less it is a price that is half expensive for me.

But hey, the best part is that I already have these weapons and I will forget about this about wanting to buy a dlc or not. I think I have to be more careful next time :/

It's not on me to decide which weapon you want and/or buy^^
And, as i said above, if you just use it for fun and optics. Maybe on your favorit server with some pales.... it's ok.
But: It's to weak/slow/"only usefull for some very limited situations"... and so on, to be a 2000 dosh tier5 weapon. Not with railgun already a very usefull tier4 and m99 a very usefull tier5 weapon.
If you are searching for a good alternativ to the existing weapons, for difficult maps und high difficulties It's not worth the price in game and real^^

Ok I understand, I hope it's worth it. At least I already have the Ion and Riot shield which is the one I love the most. And I also make people happy to join me on the server with using the "shared content".

riot shield is very nice yes. For me best weapon for swat on harder waves.
Ion thruster don't know^^, if i play zerk i use always zerkshield with 175 hp and tank.
