Is it just me or is movement in KF2 too slow?
First off, I wish to say that this is an awesome game and I love every moment of shooting Zeds in the face. I bought this last month and really enjoying it.

The one major complaint I have is the movement in KF2: it felt slow. I pressed the Sprint button and I still moved slower. Call me a n00b but I'm probably spoiled by DOOM 2016's movement speed so it might take awhile for me to adapt to KF2's movement speed.

Still, should the devs make movement a wee bit faster in the next patch, at least as an option?

I apologise if this question feels obtuse.

Nope, it's good as it is. Don't carry unnecessary gears around. Weight will bring down your speed.

the only slow coach I am aware of in KF2 is commando.
every other perk seems okay to me in movement speed.

KF2 isn't DOOM. That said, play berserker. He has greatly increased movement speed.

You could always play classes that gain movement speed bonus with certain skills/levels (Gunslinger, Berserker, Medic). Usually that means a nice +20-25% boost which helps a lot.

And come on, Doom 2016 would have been fast if they had added sprint upon the existing run speed, a la classic doom. Or at least if it had quake-esque strafe jumping :p

I miss strafe jumping which is absent from DOOM 2016.As they said use medic, berzerker or gunslinger perk for movement advantage.

why no survivalist into the speed boost? Because after level 10, you have 25% faster movement speed with melee weapons

Melee perks need a speed boost becuz the players will almost always be in range of the zeds' attack. The average movement is likely gonna get them killed too fast and render the perks useless.
