If you play with controller you should. If you play with M/K you can´t.

It´s a controller option only..

Really? Because if you go to the gameplay options it says ''Enable Aim Assist''

Yes. It´s default but only controller can use it.

With a script some.. hm.. unlucky players.. could use this stuff but why should one overwrite precise mouse steerings to force mouse movements to be sluggish ? A huge and useful benefit for controller but a downgrade for mouse steering.

i use controller, i dont. using aim assist makes dragging your gun around stick to targets and thats not good when you want to pick off certain enemies

Why would you even want to play a First person shooter with a controller?

It's not entirely impossible to play FPS with a gamepad, but it surely feels weird as hell to gamers who have got used to KB/M. I will always choose the KB/M becuz of its responsiveness.

because its comfortable and ergonomic? its not hard for console users who've been using them for years.

Pretty much this, though admittedly ive grown accustomed to M+Kb. I dont have a problem using controllers for TPS’ though

Because I cant be arsed to practise (and suck) for weeks before I can play the game properly again. 25 years of PlayStation, never got into k+m, not gonna learn it now. I mean, I tried, and mouse aiming is nice and not the problem, but movement and all the other inputs....urgh.

You can do just fine in this game with a controller, up to HOE, using Sharpshooter or Slinger. This game is not a competitive pvp FPS where people need super fast and accurate aim to even have a chance.

I also turn all aim assists off, btw.

I find the controller experience varies wildly depending on the game. I remember playing Red Faction 2 Multiplayer with controllers on PS2 and it was just an incredibly smooth ride, but for many others i found them unintuitive. Maybe it was their default settings.

The real offense is people playing RTS on a console. Watching my brother play Age of Empires on the Playstation made me want to tear my hair out.
