mkb.42 carbine rifle
what is the purpose of this weapon? its a straight downgrade from ak12 and the ak is already a weak gun..

The AK is actually an amazing generalist gun(assuming you can handle the burst fire's recoil). As for the Mkb, it trades rate of fire for damage per shot. As far as I can tell, it's meant as a cheaper scar with a larger mag, but I'm not sure.

The AK has a significantly higher firerate(Its burst fire mode can out dps the scar). The AK also carries more ammo, has a faster reload, and is a block lighter than the Mkb.

On 6 man hoe , as far as I know , it can decap a full hp scrake with default mag size IF every bullet is a headshot with lvl 25 commando, unless upgraded and in burst-fire mode , the ak can't do that. The ak is more accurate in it's burst-fire mode , but like the guy said , the bullet damage is higher on the mkb

Mostly just a fun weapon to use, in terms off effectiveness, it doesn’t do anything the AK can’t accomplish.

Exactly. It's just an alternative option cuz some of the community is demanding variance.

The devs don't count on the players to get them both for highest effectiveness. You should be grabbing either one of them and then have a SCARH or FNFAL for late game.
The purpose is to get revenge on hanz for killing you all those times by beating him at his own game or rather with his own gun in his own game.

In all seriousness it'll probably be reworked in an update or 2. Keep un mind that when the husl cannon, mac-10, doomstick, and static strikers (to name a few) first came out they were either really UP or really OP. Seems that the carbine atm is more UP compared to the ak and other weapons, but hell it's so fun to use anyways.

Also, it has stumbe value like Med rifle.
Visual kick is lower.
And has Single-fire option.

Less RPM, easier to correct your shots, bigger punch per bullet, faster dry reload, 10 more stumble power than AK, 0.5x more increased damage from +1 upgrade (because of weight) and rewards clean shots.
