It seems that when big zeds start coming the RPG is a much more reliable weapon, or at least doesn't leave you with a very long reload that is hard to deal with when there's noone to cover you
I can't imagine playing demo without an M16 tbh
I wonder if it gets better if you focus the build on stagger/knockdown skills instead of pure damage
It is super fun solo or without 6p in sui/hoe though
Anyhow, m32 pairs really really well with the all R perk skills. Ye old m32 m79 combo you can really do some trash clearing.
Wouldn't recommend all L unless you wanna focus on fleshpounds but then you'll have to avoid scrakes entirely only using it to shoot an unexploded dud to stimble it back. It can work with nukes but that's at max lvl. Lower lvls see the first statement in the paragraphs.
It's in a really wierd spot tbh:
Seeker six is better for singular targets, works really well with all L perk skills, tons of ammo, and nukes but lacks explosive radius. Also reload super fast all 6 rockets at once. It's okay on bosses. B/c of lock on (patty and hanz the sidestep dancing master), but falls short on other bosses (KFP amd minions amd the tanky armored abom.).
Rpg is best for larger zeds, bosses, and trash hoardes b/c of explosive radius, and big zed bonuses. Downsides being less ammo, more prone to error (miss 1 shot via stalker appearing outta nowhere and you lose about 1/20th of your ammo) and slower reload.
M32 is a mix of both. It can work with either side but doesn't have nearly enough damage, but has a medium ammo pool. Also it reloads incredibly slow one grenade at a time but sorta compensates with large explosive radius. It sadly has no special buffs on either scrakes or bosses, which makes it pretty useless by comparison and overpriced. Thing needs a little extra kick to help it compete with the other alterntaives (specially in the special stats department). Like hell idk, maybe specifically against fleshpounds and armored zeds/shields (so rioters, edars, abom, and boss shields can be impacted better). Then it'd be
Rpg=overall rounder with high damage but less room for error
Seeker six=highly accurate with large, fast reload mags but only 1 at a time
M32=Defense breaker and bane of fleshpounds but costs more and reload has to be timed
-lack of ammo (46 rounds) for a supposedly generalistic weapon
-lack of explosive damage (takes between the 6/7 shots to kill a singular fp without relying on duds on a LLLL loadout and 3 shots for a qp in the same loadout)
-excessive reload times even with the tac reload (tac relo is just a 20% anim speed increase basically)
-knockdown values on duds make sc takedowns harder and more reliant on body damage
-has the worst "recoil" out of the on-perk demo weapons
5 duds for sc and fp if LLLL(L/R)
5 duds for sc and 6 for fp if RLLL(L/R)
6 nades 1 dynamite for fp.
5 nades 1 c4 for fp.
However you will might knock em down.
You can carry a m16/m203 or c4 + .500/deagle + med pistol
it ironically works better on survivalist since you can reload in zed itme and more ammo plus explosive radius
helps clear trash super fast and some stumble other zeds that don't die.
