Tactical reload>rack 'em up for sharpshooter solo
Change my mind.
Tactical reload allows a sharpshooter to defend himself from trash zeds more effectively, and the extra firepower of rack em up is not as necassary as bosses don't have that much health on solo anyways.

it's solo, whatever weapon/skill loadout you use doesn't really make a difference as zeds as well don't have any hp by themselves, and tac relo with rail is a somewhat valid loadout for bosses in 6p anyways

I use it with other players almost always because I’m confident in my team’s ability to support me while I take care of the big zeds, and in turn they take care of trash that could easily surround me. Also I never play Sharp shooter solo, it’s too slow paced.

Rack em up still works better for the M14 and FAL, both of those reload fairly quickly and saying no to that extra damage with them is silly.

Stability gives you Tactical Reload while crouching.
Otherwise in solo you play as you want.

If you're solo you're not getting swamped. Rack 'em up all the way.

Say after a "breather".. you've used the silence between rushes to reload everything. You've posted up in a good spot, and bring up your centerfire.

A line of bloats, gorefiends/fasts, and a couple sirens appear. 10 headshots later, and your reloading in silence again.

Scrake in the mix somewhere? Pfft. That was only 3...

Never found a need for quick reloads in solo, as usually the trash are in smaller numbers and often there are gaps in spawn delays to reload.

I guess I would use it, if I was to reload after every kill, but with proper aimming and clip management, you will have that time to do reloads.

You may even cancel the reload anyway, so even if you do begin reloading with 1/2 a clip and a sneaky zed attacks you, you either swap or bash cancel.

It´s not even the case of need or not, but what set u´r using. If u´r using a Big ZED killer set (M99 + Magnun.500) u´d go with tactical reload (even on solo or not), and if u´r using a Medium/Big ZED killer (M14 + ...your choice...) go with rack´ em up (even on solo or not).

I feel like tac reloads are a must for every weapon with per-bullet reloads, such as the Winchester and SPX, as well as the pump shotties and M4.

And with other skills on L side you don't even need rack 'em up to oneshot scrakes.

just use stability and crouch when you want to reload, problem solved, the only time this makes a huge impact is if you're using things that reload via mags and not per bullet like the m14 or FNFAL. otherwise were talking things that are under a forth of a second faster here that isn't worth trading away +50% potentional headshot damage for.

also you're playing on solo, why even gloat that this skill is worth using over the other skill when you have modifers that deliberatly make the game easier, including the amount of zeds that at a maximum can spawn equal to that of how many shots your winchster can hold on HoE?

ReU is more detrimental on weapons that have a single ammo unit per shot mag like the crossbow, railgun, and m99. Sure you can build up headshot power, but will lost time switching in between

tactical relaod works better on single reload weapons in that instance too (also with the 2 starter rifles b/c you reload one at a time)

not much of a difference on the FN FAL nor the m14 and ReU actually works the best there b/c you have large mags that reload rather fast by default.

They really should add more slow relaoding rifles or large mags rifles for sharp
OR
crossperk the reamining single pistols for sharp including the HX-25 grenade pistol and HM 101 med pistol. The m1911, Deagle, and AF2011 would be a great addition too that could work with both.
