Hip firing accuracy & head tracing
I'm not sure if someone would know simple rabbit channel and rango himself, but I wanna ask those, who manage to hit heads and trace hip fire accuratly. I remember Rango 'cause of how dam good he can trace even raging fp head. So it's mostly a question to veteran players.
The questions are: do you use ads (advanced mb) cancel for constant headshots or do you use head tracing? How it's done in a most efficient way? Are there any patters for weapons spraying or how the hell you can fire without ads cancel and still hit a target far away? What are general tips on head tracing/hip fire without ads cancel?

i use the crosshair in the options menu or the built in dot on my monitor

weapons DO have patterns, even melee, which ill refer to as strike zones, with some fineese one can memorize how this is done along with head tracing. ADS makes it easier as the weapon isn't bumbling all over the place and the pattern is easier to vizualise, but you can do this through hipfiring with one excpetion: some weapons do have lower accuracy when hip firing, meaning even if you do a near-perfect pattern replication, theres some inaccuracy that'll affect your ability to do this at a distiance.

a crosshair will definetly help but it's more of a memeory game if you don't use it, i tell myself to aim lower than i think and that ends up being a headshot a lot of the time. a good reference to this is using your flashlight and remembering a sort of "area" that if you aim dead-center there your odds of scoring a headshot will signigantly increase. the flashlight essentially does the work of a crosshair as enabling it "vaugely" gestures where you can aim but not where you should.

bundle that with head tracing which simple rabbit aka rango (rip where have you gone bby) talks about and you should be able to do it quite nicely, of course you need to get used to head tracing along with whatever animation your target's doing along with whatever reactionary responses -like holding their arms/weapons up to block your shots- to really do this effectively.

I hope rango is gonna be back, since his content is just a piece of gold for a kf2 player.
Learn the animation and practice.

I never use ADS.

Play without crosshair and keep looking how your shots land, you will usually correct the shots out of habit which then transitions into knowing how to center properly. ADS is nice on range and to get rid of recoil and spread, also you can pretty much cancel that wonky recoil animation (like on the Centerfire) by aiming down your sights, shooting, zooming out and zooming back in so it stabilizes again, just have to do it fast enough.

Also for a last point; turn on the flashlight, trust me, that thing helps not only with seeing but also with aiming once you realize it.

I would take those videos with a grain of salt; he uses some questionable binds and things in some of his videos. But if you want, the only way to get better is to practice. Follow this link to the best current practice map in the game. Make sure to read the description and set it up properly. The fleshpound has the same rage animation every single time, so it shouldn't be too difficult to practice it with your favored perks/weapons to get the pattern down

You just need to practice a lot. Also, I would practice in games with others.

I've seen many people that practice in test maps and can do a good take down, but in an actual game with others with zeds stumbling around, crawlers hitting you, etc, they fail to adjust to the conditions and miss their shots a lot. Or they take too long to aim and shoot because they're not used to adjusting on the fly.

Practice without crosshairs. It is pretty neat to master it overtime.

I'm actually very satisfied with answers. Thought many players wouldn't know who the hell is simple rabbit and what is head tracing.

Thanks, guys.

I wouldn't say it's easy but the not complicated but it definitely takes practice.

Knowing your weapons recoil and being able to keep your shots on target is something that you just sorta pickup through playing with the weapon.

You'll know when you are missing because your bullet tracers will fly off centre and the zed won't die...

Once you have that down you just need to know the animation and follow it - while controlling for recoil.

Fleshpounds rage animations are all the same, pause, head goes down to the left then right then left again and then back up to charge.

Scrakes have some more variations to learn since there's a handful of attacks and stumbles they can go into. But you only need to know these for the support/zerk takedowns since you are point blank.

You just gotta practice.

Frankly, the game is too easy for this degree of scrutinizing to have any relevance. You don't need to learn to trace FP heads during the rage animation as you can obliterate them before they even get a chance to rage—or while they're running towards you, scoring free headshots—usually.

Game's a joke difficulty-wise.

You can just surmise the first shot without ADS and then use the tracer as a guide for the remaining shots.

You should try a harder difficulty mod then like controlled difficulty to make things harder then.

Outs more emphasis on quickly killing killing large zeds as otherwise you get murdered.
