Will we get Machine Guns for Commando ?
I know we got the Stoner but I am just curious if we get things like the MG42 or maybe a Rpk ?

I can imagine tossing a grenade, watching the zeds fall down in the gas, while laying down a lead rain with a machine gun, laughing all the way. Wouldn't that be fun?

Tier 1
+25% damage while stationary

Increased Reload Speed 33%

Tier 2
Body shots can knock back zeds (think Heatwave)

Gas Grenades knockdown zeds 100% faster.

Tier 3
Chaingunner: All consecutive shots to a single target deal extra 2% damage, up to a maximum of 30%.

Increase penetration of all perk weapons by 200%

Tier 4
Increase HP by 50

Increase carry capacity by 5.

Tier 5
Any zed shot during zed-time will be knocked down.

All shots during zed time will pierce infinitely.

Notes:

1. Maximum of 20-25 carrying capacity. LMG's weigh like 11 and 12, so you get two weapons.
2. Emphasis on high damage or suppression/crowd control.
3. Playstyle favors crouching still. Grenade provides for downtime.

Yeah move it to a new class and rebalance it.

Nobody is using stoner at this point.

Yep. True that. I personally use tier 5 Scar and Tier 5 M16, it allows for versatility, dealing with big and trash zeds.
But really, what would the machine gunner even do? How would they make a good and unique perk? Not like that hideous survivalist,mish mash of random skills from other perks..
Honestly, I'd love to see Empty Shell's XM556 Microgun (rotary machine gun, a m134 minigun's successor). Uses 5.56mm ammo. It's lightier than a m134 handheld minigun.
And btw, this weapon has been added to Payday.

PD2 is not a good example for weapons, really xd
mainly because you have to make your weapons looks hideous, in order for them to be viable
Buuuuut, I would be happy if TI added a minigun or a handheld patriarch minigun (with a Monted Rocket launcher) (For Demolitions/Commando classes) atleast.

I woud love to see an MG-42 in the game, but it'd be heavily overpowered due to it's Fire rate, it's also unlikely TWI would add one due to what I've heard and what other's have heard, ever since the M60 Stoner made it's way into the game it was really diffucult to make, unless they use RO2 Damage for the MG-42 to balance it out but it's unlikely we would see it or anyother Machine Gun in the game.

Tripwire should add a gattling gun like the empty shell's XM556 Microgun, except the m134, because the m134 is too heavy in comparison. Since the xm556 is on payday and any other games, so why not adding this one to kf2? Also it is way less heavier than its original successor and it should cost less pounds.

But a minigun is considered an LMG, like handheld versions.

Not saying a mini gun wouldnt be cool just saying a M60, RPK, or MG42 would me much More Balanced.

And there are LMGs that have a 200-300 clip capacity. So what?

They need to make the stoner good before doing anything like that, which I don't even think they should.

probably not. tbh the guns would fit swat's role more since i'd think machine guns with high fire rate and large mag sizes would fit the bullet hose perk better than one that benefits more from times kills to extend zed time, but its the theme that commando has large heavy duty weapons while swat has smaller spammier stumble power. The stoner would fit swat's role way better than commando tbh.

Sadly we got the stoner for commando though, so machine guns added would probably be nerfed to hell to be pooled with the commando perk.
