is the shovel the worst spawn gun?

I can do good with almost any zerk weapon, but shovel seems too much unreliable, even for a tier 1 weapon. Reminds me the machete from KF1

You sure? Crovel is very neat as a starting weapon since it uses no ammo and kills trash efficiently.

Worst tier 1 would the AR-15. Clunky iron sights, low mag capacity, no full auto option and unbearable reload time without tactical reload.

I mean, it's a Tier 1 weapon. It does substantially more damage than a knife but it's still just a Tier 1 at the end of the game.
Though if you can't kill trash as Beserker with your knife (yet alone the "better knife") then you're probably just b a d.

gun, weapon, I don´t care. I play HoE and it just doesn´t feel like useful, I rather use knife. BTW, I´m not precisely bad

hmm i didnt know the crovel was a gun lmao...that being said its pretty solid especially with max upgrades

Lol nah. AR-15's pretty good, better than the MP7. The worst would be Medic Pistol in killing power for obvious reasons.

Varmint rifles pretty good actually. So long as your hipfire is on point. Same is true of the 1858s, especially since their damage got buffed. Only issue with them is the reload speed really.

The HX25 is the worst spawn/Tier 1 gun because at that point, you have to (if on Suicidal or HOE) deal with Rioters. And Rioters can replace Alpha clots, which sometimes means you get A LOT of Rioters. And the HX25 is the worst weapon to fight them with.

The Shovel can one shot every enemy on wave 1 except the bloat using the appropriate skills, doesn't need ammo, can block/parry, and can take out multiple smaller enemies in a single attack. It is one of the best tier 1/spawn weapons, next to the LAR and the Chaulk n' Burn.

no the machete of KF2 is the lawn mower blade after lvl 15
the crovel is actually really good and once you reach lvl 20, the m2 heavy attack with smash can decap bloats and rioters as well as gorefiends with 1 swing (varies on multiplayer with the # of players).

someone said that the crovel m2 counted as a blunt instead of slash which makes alot of sense why it's extremely good at stumbling back zeds.

also the worst spawn gun is without a doubt the varmit rifle (unupgraded)
the starting shotgun can kill multiple enemies but the varmit rifle seems underpowered that they spawn so many times during a match in weapon spawn locations and the bullpup is a better upgrade that you wanna buy it immediately after the 1st wave (one of those rare cases where you can't keep the starting weapon and you wanna get the next T2 weapon)

If I'm using survivalist, I'd put the shovel as my #1 spawn choice on HoE. It'll last me until scrake waves. Moving in circles and fast swinging at zed heads pretty much makes you invincible early on. Chaulk n' Burn is also good. Medic pistol & HX25 are the worst.

any trash zed can be killed easily by hx25 except rioters and bloats which i use the 9mm and shoot the rioters leg and bloats head easy fix also crovel with max upgrades can do similar damage to the smash perk below level 20

I would take a shovel loooong before an MP7.
