(Problem) Connection to servers
Hello Guys, i have a friend that cant join to any server of the game.

Each time he clicks on the botton "join server" nothings happends..

He cant join a server even with the party matching... Maybe if he have luck after several times clicking on "join server" he can join a server...

I dont have this problem on my house.

Someone know what to do?

He already reinstalled the game, and checked the missing files.

Maybe he has some workshop items or custom skins that won't let him join servers.
Tell him to unsubscribe from all workshop items and delete killing floor 2 folder from Documents/My games
Then verify integrity of game cache and try to join servers

he doesnt have anything from workshop.. He installed steam just for playing kf2 yesterday.

Thats the only game he have, and couldnt play it yet.

Then probably it's firewall blocking KF2.
When you launch game for the first time, firewall should pop up asking you to allow that game access to the internet.
Maybe he didn't allowed it.
Tell him to check inbound and outbound rules in firewall settings and see are both Steam and KF2 allowed.
Or try to play with firewall completely disabled.

A good test would be, you get into a lobby waiting to ready up, in a match with open player slots. Have him open the Steam overlay and find you, among his friends. Have him right click on your avatar to bring up a set of options. See if he get the option to join you in game. If so, click it.

I have the same problem, I tried all the solutions above and nothing happened. I even changed the DNS and limited the amount of searchs in the KFGUI file to 20, because other posts said that it was the solution to this. I dont know what else I can do, if somebody has another option pls post it here.
We tried the game in different computers and nothing, then we used one of the computers in another house and it worked perfectly, so I assume it is an internet problem or something with the router.

Good catch Mati. Are either of you able to try connecting via mobile hot spot, to see if anything changes.

Hello, I tried the mobile hot spot and it worked, so the problem is the router. We also tried with a friend inviting me from his house and it didint worked with my router, so Im going to reset it and see if that changes something.

I also did a hard reset on my router and it is still the same.
