A while ago, we have a map for training, which didn't have EXP and had unlimited money for testing.
It stopped working a few updates back, and it didn't returned ever since :(
also atm there is ONE map
KF_cube or that one room at a time room that has a big area and i think spawns big zeds or zeds seperately apart. While it is actually considered a perk lvl up map or one step below them, you can use them for legit trying out new zed takedown techinques.
I 2nd the official zed training map like the many made for KF1 where you could practice zed takedowns. Just have to make it unofficial or some way so that people don't gain xp from it and use it soley for training purposes.
Though in my honest opinion nothing beats trying it in a regular match, because people talk the big talk about doing this or that, but when it comes down to it, randomness factor and random allies will always make the game either wayy eaiser, or a living hell even on normal lmao. Playing with good players sorta makes you worse since you get used to being in an organized environment, but when you add the non-expert normal players, then that's where your mettle is really tested.
The descriptions need to be updated - like many people don't even know how commando extends zed time >_<
Like so much information is outside of the game that it's really hard for newbies to avoid traps and get good.
Also some testimonials wouldn't work even if the creator kept it updated because the fakeplayer console command is broken (like the FoV command).
You can create a test environment using controlled difficulty to set the number of players you want in the game, then you can kill zeds with the Killzeds command to get to trader time "doshme" to give yourself Dosh and "spawnzed xxx" or "spawnzedai XXX" to soawn your zeds for testing. Just be ware that some zeds hp values are wrong if they don't spawn with AI...
Then by some logic they should also make Advanced Tutorial, with all possible tips and tricks explained in details.
And test map where you could simulate any number of players and difficulty, and when you spawn Zed it would show their HP and damage done when you hit them.
I like that test map (I think it's called Remilly test map, or something like that) where you shot Zed icon at the wall and Zed gets spawned. And you can also shot at perk icons to get their weapons. Something like that should be added for official test map.
