Even after the change it is a extremely strong weapon.
It is only worthwhile to upgrade when the weapon can hit a critical damage point, if it doesn't then it is just a waste of money.
Not saying that its bad, imo it's just a tiny saw dmg buff that it needs, I agree that the projectile was a bit OP since it could kill a fleshpound with 2 hits to the head, but the saw blade just needs a little bit more of dmg
Does not need more ammo at all when you can retrieve ammo. It has plenty.
Don't see what you're going for with the aim. It goes wherever the laser points and is very easy to aim.
Reload is fast and easy.
Projectile Speed is fine and making it higher devalues the purpose of making it a slower projectile than most conventional weapons.
The damage was "massively" nerfed because it was so broken. Beserk could pretty much do what a Sharpshooter could but with much less skill. Two-shotting scrakes while being able to efficiently fight every other zed type in the game diminishes the value in most of the other perks. Three-shotting fleshpounds was ridiculous as well.
Big zeds and bosses are the only things it can't kill with 1 hit.
It is currently good where it is.
Adding more ammo will only make it unbalance, considering a beserker class should be in the frontlines and not shooting from the backline.
Yeah it's just a click point and die weapon that still allows you to be efficient in everything else and go solo.
I use laser sight on both the eviscerator and m14 as reference to where the shot could go, but it generally is accurate and I'm consistent. Also, aiming the Eviscerator doesn't take that much effort.
