Know his attacks and have counters for it.
If your team knows wtf they are doing, they will block him and kill him before he runs off and heals.
The main issue people have is not being able to see him, and he keeps running away too quickly for you to catch up to him. With it he can ambush you but also get lost in the map easily.
What you need (all perks at least lvl 15 for easy wins and perk skills):
-1 medic all L and hemogoblin
-1 zerker all L (L and R as in Left perk skills Right perk skills)
-1 support to weld all the doors before you do the boss wave, the previous wave leave 1 zed alive, leave the 2 doors in the generator room open and the one where the examination tables are as well as the one leading to the loading dock where the trader pod is next to the cargo containers. Go all R with a dbs and m4 for raw damage
-1 demo to trap all the doors with rpgs and C4 all L
-1 commando to see the patriarch all L but if everyone is a lvl 25 perk go all R and focus soley on trash disposal. Use an m16 and a med AR for extra healing if you have the dosh for it. If you go for trash disposal go all R with a stoner LMG
other perks for the last one can vary, but recommended sharp or firebug for extra damage or trash disposal but you can also use swat and gunslinger too:
-if sharpshooter use the railgun LLRRL,
-firebug flamethrower LRLLL focus on trash
-swat kriss and p90 but kriss with extra stumbles LLRRR but you can also use L battering ram to stumble him down during zed time. If you dont have enough dosh use the Kriss and focus on his legs.
-gunslinger RLRLR with a centerfire and hx-25 grenade pistol for quick trash disposal
What you wanna do is wait for the patriarch to spawn, if you wanna keep trying try a short match or endless mode, infact endless mode the patriarch and other bosses get lowered health so easier to kill
zerker is your tank and keeps him in place. Use them to block and to kite. When he is about to run away stand in front and m2 with the eviscerator
med healing zerker and other perks whenever needed. You can also block up to 5 times with max armor and a heal nade as well as the hemogoblin. The hemo helps to not only debuff the patriarch but also slows him to catch up easily. If needed stand in front of him before he runs away to block him.
commando is there to allow yall to see him but can help with stumble and his m16 nades do serious damage, enough to help with the last bit of health before he runs away.
support can also help kite and the DBS helps stumble back if you land all shots on his head. What you wanna do is weld the area where he is coming from. Dont block him but stand in front and press m2 to unload both barrels of the dbs and stumble him a bit.
demo is the most important part to all of this. His RPG has a weakness on all bosses, so they take extra damage from him. Before you start killing him with rpgs, let him attack someone and place c4 on him. It not only helps later on but if the commando dies for whatever reason it helps see him. If he runs away dedonate one every 3 seconds, you'll have more than enough damage to kill finish off the last bit of health. Before he gets to you go the opposite area where he's coming from and weld the door with a trap. If possible weld the door where the support welded which is the original way he entered from. IF possible enough focus on rpg damage and C4 above everything else, just don't die doing it, wait for the patriarch to start damaging someone.
When he's about to run away fire 1 more rpg then swap to the c4 dedonator and dedonate once every 3 seconds, 4 if you want max damage but 3 is enough
other perks:
-swat hit his legs with the kriss when he's about to run away
-sharp when his health is about to drop to the critical lvl before he runs away freeze him, throw all your nades and he should freeze
-GS when he's about to run away get in front and walk backwards, keep aiming for his head slow him down. Also you can, a little risky as any perk but when he's about to use his minigun hug him, like literally stand chest to whatever the hell his chest is and just land headshots as any perk but GS works best
-firebug focus on trash but if no trash use groundfire and slow him down a bit.
If you land c4 on the patriarch and do at least 1/2 of these you should be able to 1 ko him easily.
hence why a zerker is more useful than just blocking or tanking attacks, since KF1 zerker has sorta been the patty sandbag. You could use them to kite him or keep him in one spot and if he's attacking he's not healing or running away.
