so does it work with all weapons then empty mags reload faster than semi-full mags?
And a few weapons reload at the same speed regardless of ammo available, like the Husk Cannon.
i wounder why the nailgun reloads faster with nails than without
If you have some bullets left, character takes out the mag from gun, puts new mag in, and puts old mag in their pocket.
If mag is empty, then they just drop it on the floor.
Cool thing they did with dual pistols is when you have only 1 bullet left in a mag. They drop empty mag from first pistol and put mag with 1 bullet from second pistol in their pocket.
Only shotguns with 1 by 1 shell reload are exceptions. They reload slower when shotgun is empty because how they put first shell in.
wow
good info to know but what i was asking was if empty mags reload more than mags with a couple bullets left but seeing as how you said that now it makes sense
If you look at both reloads in 3rd person it will make perfect sense
thanks

immortal told me about the chart but i lost the link
However I am somewhat of the resident Gunslinger nut after writing an essay on the difference between the AF2011 and the .500 Magnums, so I do have a little bit of research knowledge for the handguns. Generally speaking all the magazine fed pistols (9mm, HM-Tech 001, M1911, Deagles, and AF2011) reload faster when out of ammo. (You will drop both empty magazines before reloading them both at once, as opposed to reloading each gun seperately.) Both of the dual revolvers (1858s/.500s) reload faster when reloaded tactically, though strangely enough the single 1858 is reloaded faster when dry. The exception to the revolver reload speed rule is the Spitfires Flare Pistols, which you shouldn't be buying on Gunslinger anyways, but they reload faster if there's still a "bullet" in the chamber.
also i was mostly curious since i run AF2011's ALOT as GS and just wanted to know if it applied to all other guns/revolvers
