my setup for endless mode. weapon - pulv
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1325000334
05 lvl - fast running, auto-heal
10 lvl - auto-heal
15 lvl - 20% permanent resistance to any damage. when a bloat attack occurs, the screen remains clean
20 lvl - berserker quickly kills small zeds and protects the team from large ones. killing large zeds is a DD job
25 lvl - fast moving during zedtime very often helps me rescue the team
if it is difficult to understand the text, to blame google translate :D
You can always switch the skills after every few waves or so.
Assuming you opt for the eviserator, I don't think an all bloat or siren wave should give you too much trouble. Husks are the real problem, but even then, you can use your LIGHTNING IN A BAHTLE to disable a group of them and kill them without putting yourself at too much risk.
Alternatively, you could ask the medic to pocket you, assuming they got their dart defense buff perk. This would allow you to mow through the zeds, even without having parry active.
I think parry, for being useless in 1/25 waves or so, makes up for that by being incredibly helpful for waves such as poundemonium or boss waves.
the 1 siren wave you see every 100 waves doesn't outweigh parry's usefulness for the other 99% of the time
Nothing beats the feeling of parrying a clot or a crawler and going Leroy Jenkins on the horde.
Despite that, I still stand by my recommendation of it, as even in siren, bloat, or husks only, you should be using eviserator (I wasn't) and even should you die, your team should have no problem doing the wave without you. If they do, there's a problem.
That's the only time you die in Endless
The damage reduction and extra damage you get is ridiculous, and parrying a single crawler once every 10 seconds is not hard, it's just kind of a chore. Just bad game design.
I didn't get there yet, only did 15 waves and then got bored, but I have a question. How the fk did you die? Don't you have the evis? Just stand back and headshot them all xD
