Why do people wear and love precious skins?
I don't get it why people would waste $50+ on Something ugly as those....I rather spend money on something else that looks nicer and is cheaper,Everytime I enter a match everyone is using either Precious Dar or the Precious Swat suit and anything else that's precious..Why do people wear these? I mean sure they were cool at first but everyone and their mothers wear it now
Can't find a single game were someone isn't wearing it so please tell me why do people love them because I hate when someone atleast has a Precious skin for their weapon or character it triggers me....I wish they're never were made or atleast had some other color instead of it looking yellowish orange all the time....Tell me why do you love it and wear it? (If you do that is...)

People have different taste, and value something different than others, for me, blue and red ana cyberpunk collection worth the world to me, for those who use precious i may look like homeless trash.

It is just humans thing.

those are the "vosh" skins. Precious skins turn whatever the weapon is into a solid gold brick shaped like a weapon. I suspect the "it's a solid gold brick!" idea is simply enough of a novelty for some people.

Those vault precious weapons are ok because they're mostly dark grey with only few golden details.
But those solid gold precious weapons from store are disgusting.
I wouldn't wear them even if they're free.

I mostly prefer blue and red skins (cyberpunk for cosmetics and Horzine elite blue/red for weapons)

I guess it’s because they were either lucky enough to unbox them or had enough money, which gives them a sense of entitlement.

Why does it trigger you? Personally I think most of the new cyberpunk skins look trash, but it doesnt trigger me.

It triggers me because It's the only thing I see people wear now...The game has tons of unique colored and cool looking cosmetics that'll never see the light of day when Everyone is just looking like a block of good cheese

The skins With gold trims are fine but the regular Precious are just.... (puke)

Honestly I think it's everyone's personal preferences about getting that stuff I mean some people want to be all gold some people don't it's kind of just what people spend their money on.
they're considered high tier like purple rarity /mastercrafted items
going back to the royal scheme in medeavil ages where purple was a hard to come by color
same with cyan, magneta, etc.
colors in general have always been a rare sign of power, richness / wealth, and just overall status quote
precious skins are the highest tier of anything you can get because it's essentialy gold

other games lied to you btw
real gold is like that, at least 100% pure gold
if it is shinier, it's because it's an alloy infused with something else that prevents it from deteriating
Why does someone's cosmetic choice matter?

That pops into my head every time I hear or read about KF2 exceedingly rare cosmetics.
Thank you.

What aren't people 'triggered' by these days?

I wear the DAR skin simply because I got it for free, I have no intention of spending extra money on cosmetics and find the shiny 'gold' robot to be the most tasteless skin, which is exactly what I want on my swearing, Zed-murdering robot.

Well, now if this game had a certain giant Russian man with a minigun I might just change my mind and turn him into a Yeti.
