Why is everyone an anime voice actor?
I was doing some research into Killing Floor 2's voice actors and... Wow you guys hired a lot of anime voice actors. :MrFoster:
  • Tom Banner[www.imdb.com] has voiced characters from Full Metal Alchemist, Fairy Tail, and Dragon Ball Z.
  • Hans Volter[www.imdb.com] voiced Emperor Pilaf in Dragon Ball Z Resurrection F and Android 17 in Dragon Ball FighterZ.
  • Rob Briar[www.imdb.com] has voiced various Pokemon as well as some Yu-Gi-Oh Monsters.
  • DJ Skully[www.imdb.com] has voiced characters in Attack on Titan, Ghost in the Shell, Tokyo Ghoul, and (again) Dragon Ball Z.
  • Ana Larive[www.imdb.com] has voiced characters in One Punch Man, Kill La Kill, and Sword Art Online.
  • Bill Masterson[www.imdb.com] has done voice acting for One Piece, Danganronpa, and (again) DBZ.
  • The Trader[www.imdb.com] voiced characters in Season 2 of Jojo.
  • Hayato Tanaka[www.imdb.com] has voiced characters in One Punch Man, Danganronpa 3, and Vegeta in Dragon Ball Super.
  • Mr. Foster[www.imdb.com] has voiced characters in Attack on Titan, Steins Gate, My Hero Academia, and Fairy Tail.
The only characters that I couldn't find any anime history with (with the exceptions of Classic Bill and Classic Masterson, who are employees at Tripwire) are Rae Higgens[www.imdb.com],Reverend Alberts[www.imdb.com], and Donovan O'Neil.[www.imdb.com] Rae has a lot of history in Video Games however (being the voice actress for one of the playable characters in Dead Island), and Alberts has a surprising amount of history with Cartoon Network. Donovan has a lot of movie acting experience and has done some work for the Borderlands series.

:D I am assuming it's because animated shows and films are a good source of work for voice actors and actresses.

Oh and OP, Ian Sinclair AKA younger Bill Masterson also worked for Tripwire before.
He voiced Reggie the Rocker! :hoxton:

I was surprised to see a lot of Dawn of War voice actors/actresses also did a lot of anime work. I imagine it's because they make careers out of voice acting in general, not in being in any specific type of media.

There's very little info on the internet for the voice actors from Killing Floor 1. What little information I could find was from Killing Floor 1's Gold Edition information manual.[i.imgur.com] The info manual only lists 4 voice actors, and considering that the Gold edition was released around 2003 characters like Reggie the Rocker weren't in the game yet.
I know that, when the Gold edition was released, there were 3 character voices: Male1 (Mark Hayler [Classic Briar]), Male2 (Alan Wilson [Classic Masterson]), and Female1 (Ash Harding and later Misses Foster.) There was also the trader's voice which is likely the second female voice actress credited. I don't know if Rose Awe or Moira Wilson voiced Ash (and Miss Foster.) Googling both their names doesn't even produce IMDB pages. They were seemingly two very unknown voice actresses who likely had relationships with Tripwire.

Regardless, KF1 was voiced by a bunch of Joe Shmoes, and they asked you to pay $10 for their characters. But we shall not go into Misses Foster price talk.

i've always wondered if Hayato Tanaka's accent doesn't sound japanese on purpose.
It would be fitting, since his bio states he grew up on a US military base in Okinawa. Having to be in two different cultures would certainly be reflected in his speech.

And damn, I did not know Reverend Alberts was voiced by Dwight Schultz. Next time I pick him, I'm going full A-Team by spraying the Stoner and M16 at the zeds. Too bad we can't use the welders to build some crazy contraptions to save the day.
