abomination "bon appetitE"
I do not think tripwire really care bout this but in french the T of "Bon appetit" is silent it's Bon Appeti not Bon AppetitE lmao.

That's kinda funny as a native french speaker to hear that kind of mistake tbh.

English borrows phrases from other languages. Bon apetite is recognized as a part of english (e.g., it's in english dictionaries and grammar references) just like bon voyage or faux pas. In some cases the Anglicized pronunciation of phrases gets changed. An english speaker using the anglicized pronunciation is not actually a "mistake".

Bon appetite my friend, enjoy some cremè brulay
Tripwire is an American company. The trader's voice should've made that obvious.

Maybe Abomination is half german. We say "Guten Appetit" with non-silent T :)

U miss > Voila !
I think the actual delivery of the line is more alarming than how it's pronounced. Just sounds out of place in my opinion, and sounds more embarassing than threatening.
Abomination doesn't know french well, such a tragedy
Well even though Strasser has a pretty good voice actor who has accurate German pronounciation, he isn't exclusively authentic either. You'll always find some little thing that's a bit "off." For example, no German native speaker would refer to a glass/ mug of beer as "Stein." That's a thing Americans etc. say.
Also, what Jimmylowa said is very accurate.
I miss the sassy english trader from KF1. This French robot AI trader makes me not trust it..
