Mrs. Foster Isn't Worth $10!
I got her anyways because I always buy these things from the store to support TW. In the past with the cardboard knight and hazmat suit it was well worth the $5, But now we have to pay twice that for a half made chracter?! The hazmat helmet, carboard knight helmet, wasteland helmet, and even the Horzine security helmet aren't even available to use for her so I can't even make use of helf of each of the four cosmetic sets I paid for with her! If you're thinking of buying her then don't, unless you really don't care where your money's going.

Edit: My whole point is that there's no reason for Mrs. Foster to not be able to use the cosmetics. Even Rae was able to use the full cosmetic sets and she came into the game way after they did.

Why are you supporting a company you think is overcharging you?
Because this is the first time I've ever really felt like TWI is "overcharging." If the next update this year ( which I think is halloween) has similar issues I won't be buying anything. For now I'm trying to stay optimistic because KF2 has been reliable for good content, aside from this most recent update. Essentially: they've got customer loyalty from me (for now).
But if everyone buys it and says it's overpriced, then you're telling them it's not. So expecting a different outcome for the Halloween event makes no sense.

So a Character with Voice acting should be the same Price as a costume with no Voice acting? :steamfacepalm: Sound's legit

Gotta love how a character in-game costs 33% of the game's original price
Really gives me the giggles.

In case you're wondering what the ♥♥♥♥ am I talking about I'm talking about how you have to pay 10 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dollars to use Mrs. Foster in-game, when her steampunk version in the first game was completely free. Great one ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ TWI, you guys really had me going on laughter.

Claudia Black's voice acting alone made her worth the 10 bucks. But that's just my opinion.

Dude, the game is 30 dollars, when you buy it you get like what 6 to 9 characters by default? You should NOT have to pay a third of the GAMES PRICE, for a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ character. That is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

I only quoted the price of the other cosmetic suits to say the the things in the past have felt worth their price tag, I never said the whole character was worth $5. I'f I WERE to put a different price on Mrs. Foster it'd probably closer to $8 becasue It contains the fully voiced character and the uniform variants for that character.

Yeah that's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, what they did to DAR and Commando Chicken was pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bad but this? This is unacceptable.

I mean, I'm not to outraged about it, like I'm not going to completely uninstall the game because of this but I still think it's BS. Also I think the only reason why they made her so expensive is because it's Mrs. Foster, they know damn well people are going to buy her.

And about people who don't play the game in english, or don't care about Claudia Black, what justify 10 bucks?

Personally, I consider 10 dollars for a fully voiced character that's vastly better than Rae to be pretty good. Un-related, it has more value to it than something like a 15 dollar class for Diablo 3.

Don't care that it's a third of the game's price, it's content, they don't benefit from free content. Don't want to support them and sound like a raging child? Don't buy it (or just save for a future sale because you're probably cheap)

It's kinda funny though how she costs $9.99.
She was also DLC in the first game, and unlike most DLCs, including the one that had Mr. Foster himself, she had full voice acting, just like in KF2!
How much did she cost?
$4.99. Half of what she's worth now.
I mean, there's a lot more lines they had to record this time around, but she's a character whose whole existance in KF2 relies upon nostalgia for the first game (and also fanservice). She shouldn't cost so much, and that's coming from someone who bought her with no regret.
I have to admit, though they nailed one very specific part everyone remembers about Killing Floor:
The overpriced as hell DLC!
Like, ♥♥♥♥ man, I have probably funded an update's worth of content with the amount of Keys I buy.

Maybe they expect you to shell that money to support the flux of updates that adds to the game free maps, guns, and the free vault cosmetic that create and ilussion of reward for playing. I honestly expected the character to be DLC instead of Zedconomy (to get it on a seasonal discount) but ... oh well... theres point in arguing in value, but not what you choose to do with your money.

Perhaps the cost to make the character as well as voice it was higher than it was back in KF1 days, so they had to up the price to compensate.

Who knows. I doubt we'll ever get an answer.

You may choose to not purchase Mrs. Foster, if you feel it isn't worth it.

gotta love how you have to pay for a game one single time and then expect free updates, bug fixes and whatever else is requested by the community, then we are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about 10 dollars

get real, you dont even have to buy it
DeathCow Jun 13, 2018 @ 11:24pm
I have to say, I think the majority who would have bought Mrs. Foster didn't because of the price. I've played matches probably for about 4 hours or so since her release and I have yet to come across anyone playing as her, making me think that it's not selling well.
