Well you have to think of it they're probably not going to add an a insult button for Killing Floor 2. What are the reasons I think they won't is you have to think how much it is just to fly out those people all the way back to the studio just to do a couple of voice line for the insult. You also have to think how much they're going to have to pay those voice actors to do those lines again so I mean they're probably not going to add it. Plus I mean as a big Killing Floor fan I do miss the insult that was one of my favorite parts of the game, but it doesn't make the game and I do say that the emotes makes up for not having the insult.

I wouldn't be so flustered over it if the literal, sole reason they didn't do it was because they found it was 'expendable' to their awful new chat wheel, something that'd only been put in to accomodate console users.

I mean, there isn't even a "Sorry". Of course people can just TYPE or TALK to say these things, but if you're a Killing Floor fan you cannot deny that there's a massive cut of the fanbase that loves exclusively communicating through quick chat, it added so much personality. I just want some sort of solution, a better one than emotes... especially when no one wants to pay for them and 90% of people just have 'mating ritual' from the dosh loot chest...

Again I can understand how you feel, but also realize that Killing Floor 2 is their first game on Console of course they're going to have buttons such as sorry and other things because think about it. Console players don't have the options that PC players do they can't just type sorry and if you've ever played Killing Floor 2 on a console, you understand that a lot of console players don't use their mic or they're in a party, I mean I don't disagree with what they did I think the option they picked to add the sayings they added are perfectly fine it's kind of a win-win for everyone plus if you think about it there's not enough buttons for console players. You just have to think about the other stuff such as Killing Floor is on console and they have to make a game that's going to be good enough for everyone new players and old yeah there's going to be some things that we all miss but it's still the same thing we all enjoy even if it changes a little.

well no becasue the char already say that when they see a FP or a SC

yeah we won't be seeing that again unfortunately, much like a voiceline for Thank You which is funnily enough present in the game in automatic dialogue.

It's not a big deal but it was very strange of TWI to omit those, made the game lose quite a bit of character

Some of the characters (at least Bill Masterson) already have Insult Player worthy voicelines. One of the Insult Zeds voicelines are ''W@nker'' which is much more fitting to humans than zeds :P

I don't think saying it promotes "toxicity" is a very valid excuse. No one is going to take more offense from a player spamming "YOU MUPPET!" than they would from those pathetic teenagers who squeal about how "f*cking sh*t you are you stupid c*nt" just because they got pinned in a corner by the Patdaddy and cried about it.

In fact, not being able to [INSULT PLAYER] those exact toxic people makes the game less enjoyable in itself, because I have no way to bully them with the press of a button.

Just setbind __ say INSULT PLAYERS, then play the voicelines from the first game over your microphone, EZFIX

as things are going, you'd get kicked the first time you used it.

i love KF1, but honestly don't see much value in insulting players in a team game, at best, there is no consequence, at worst you'd get no dosh, no help, door trolled or just kicked.

I just use the generic "Request Help" command. I've found that players generally know that when someone is requesting help, it's usually because of a SC or FP. I do wish that "Thanks" was bindable in the options menu, though. I rarely use the chat wheel.

I'm not the biggest nor most prolific KF2 player, but I have literally never had that happen. And, IMO, the game should not encourage bullying nor facilitate it, even if the players who are being jerks deserve it.
