Is Hell on Earth really the fastest way to gain xp when it takes so much longer to kill bosses?

Pretty much what it says in the title; because hell on earth bosses deal so much more damage, soloing them takes way longer than in suicidal because you have to constantly run away and wait for your heal to recharge. over the course of several games, it seems like suicidal should beat out hoe for actual xp gained, since bosses on suicidal die so easily, you can actually kill the boss and get the xp much quicker.

I think suicidal is the best for quickly earning XP.
And you have higher chance to actually kill the boss and get XP for killing them in suicidal than in HoE.

hoe gives most xp...killing only boss solo will give u almost 3k xp without counting waves....but like eldin told u sui is more relaxing to play

HoE's higher xp payout comes more from larger waves than it does from better xp/kill. I find suicidal is best for leveling simply because it's easier to consistently complete matches.

see there's the issue is that it takes more ammo and time to kill zeds than in lower difficulties, especially bosses.

This is sorta why you can somewhat lvl up faster on 1 difficulty lower than in 1 difficulty higher. The only exception is in those scummy perklvlup trainer maps but literally every other official and workshop map, you're better off staying in your lane or 1 lvl below if you wanna quickly shoot the breeze.

Since damage is only 1/2 the lvl up process, the objectives probably provide just as much xp than just damage. That being said things like killing stalkers and crawlers is faster to do on your difficulty than in higher ones where you're gonna have trouble especially on big zeds that will eat up most of your ammo.

The fastest way to level is probably Endless on DieSector, beat the boss on wave 5, then restart. It can be tough getting there with Tier 1 weapons (dosh is pretty tight for the first few waves) but it goes pretty quick once you optimize it. HoE of course, though Sui is also pretty good xp.

Agreed! Although I like to play through at least the first 10 waves, and sometimes just on Hard or Sui (I'm not too picky on the difficulty), you've got the right idea though.

Suicidal is best, but you have to be good and have some degree of experience or quickly learn how to counter each zed.

The boss EXP is all you need. Even on HOE it's very easy to do 5 waves on endless in 5-10 minutes, depending if you skip trader and what boss you get/perk you use. Endless level 5 boss, and waves before that, give you HOE EXP but their HP values are not nearly at regular HOE standards

i think people neglect to account for the prestige bonus

after the 1st you can go down a tier and still get the same xp more or less.

i think that prestige xp should be greater like in dead island one character give u first rank 50% xp 2 rank 100% and 3 rank 200% and for last 2 rank to get some reskined wepons or something like in crossfire u have normal m4 but as captein rank u get m4 with silencer witch u cant get any other way

Yeah, this.

I use RE4 cabin map. Can grenade spam the two lanes to end rounds fast, plenty ammo pickups right where you hold, so you can skip trader right away every wave. Just have to go to trader once to get a boss killer.
Wave 5 boss is a pushover. 5 waves take ~4 minutes.
