What time does double XP end?

Can't find it anywhere except for a generic August 13th date

It ends this afternoon. The plan is to start turning it off on all platforms around 1pm EST. However, it's a flexible time should something come up to delay it.

I'd love it if they extended it a little bit.... I only played a couple times this weekend but I got my Sharpie up from 23 to 24. Who else here got a little boost from this?

I basically went on a grind marathon. I was averaging just under 2000 XP per minute with prestige, I (being the idiot I am) prestiged all of my perks in honor of a friend buying the game, so I used this weekend to bring every perk from 0-20! I spent a lot of time playing lol.

Well, it was fun. I tend to only play for growth on double XP, and move to other games unless weekly.

Prestige is the only reason to play, and farm vosh I do not have yet. The dream is the drive, the grind is depressing. Patriarch gave me PTSD with all that negativity.

I don't understand the reason to say it is until August 13th when it ends at 1pm. What's the point of that? Just say it ends on the 12th and anything extra is bonus. Saying it goes until the 13th gives me expectations that I can come home from work, local time, and enjoy the rest of the DXP event.
