Though for maps with lots of CQC, you may want t o opt for the Microwave Gun since it gives more margin for error and can push back enemies with it's altfire.
The secondary is up to personal preference. It can be the Flare Revolvers, Mac-10, Caulk or Trench Gun (although the last one doesn't have much ammo).
Perk chocies depend on yoru primary weapon. For the MWG, go with this:

For the Helios Rifle or Husk Cannon, go with this:

For Flamethrower, good complementing weapons are:
Husk cannon for more raw damage
Helios rifle for general use with precision
Dual spitfires(with upgrades if possible) for general use with area coverage
For MWG, take:
Caulk and burn if you still want a flame projector for trash clearing
Dual spitfires are still good for the reason stated above
Mac10 as a lighter helios rifle(since you can't take the helios with the MWG)
Additionally, both the spitfires and Mac10 will leave you with space for the HM101 pistol even after upgrading them.
If you're running the flamethrower or caulk'n'burn, take LRRLL. Otherwise you can run full left unless you really want the stun chance from zed shrapnel.
(+2) Dual Spitfires + Helios/Husk Cannon + Med Pistol
The ultimate Firebug loadout. Avoid Mac-10 (worst Firebug weapon), Dragonsbreath (not very good either) and Flamethrowers (because they're boring as ♥♥♥♥ and you can just kill all zeds from range before they even get close anyway).
Spit Fires + Microwavegun - weapons.
Pros - undying version of FB, even 3-4 FP can't kill you, cause they can't hit you.
Cons - unlike Helios gun, Microwavegun has no profit during zed-time, but pistols can ignite 360 degree around you.
Spitfires
You've got to be kidding me. By not having either DOT extension skill, the Spitfires are crap and equivalent to being used off-perk. You're better off using a Caulk & Burn in their place with that skill set.
