Best weapons/perks for Demo?
Hello, so I've been away from the game for a few months now, just came back after getting the Deluxe Edition of Rising Storm 2 which gives you some skins for this game, most of which are for Demolitionist so I decided to give it a go again.

So yeah that's about it, I'm just wondering what's the "meta" right now since I haven't kept track of the weapon and perk changes and so forth, hoping for someone to bring up to date.

Cheers and have a nice day.

RPG is the go-to weapon for most demos. It deals high damage per shot and overall is straightforward in use.

Yeah, I tried both the seeker six and the M32 and it seems like the good old tried and tested RPG is the best last tier choice for demo. So I'm guessing none of the other 2 were buffed or changed in any way from last I used them then.

If the team fails miserably at covering you, get a M16 or keep the HX25 for cqc.

I just go M16/RPG. If there's a good SS or GS around I sometimes go M16/M32.

RPG+C4+Deagle for maximum burst damage

Seeker6+M16 for generalist(handles QP groups better)

Husk Cannon+Pulverizer for close range(think maps like Lockdown)

Skill tree:
LEFT, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, LEFT.
Weapons : Rpg + Grenade Launcher.
Or if you don't have trash killers near your, so:
RPG + M16.
Boss Wave:
X1 RPG + C4.
I don't recommend Seeker or M32 since you can't 2 shot FP with them.
for me, the Seeker Six/C-4 combo worked out for me rather well.

and to be quite honest, I can't really stand the RPG-7, for not only the low ammo pool, but the extreme risk of having Stalkers suddenly pop up in front of you, where that rocket that was originally meant for a Fleshpound or Quarterpound, the Stalker ends up potentially f*cking up your shot.

at least with a fully upgraded Seeker Six, the smart-targeting system helps out alot when detecting Stalkers, but its damage output is almost on par with the RPG-7 as well.

It actually has about the same damage per mag. All six shots together have the same explosive damage and slightly higher impact damage. The RPG is really only better for condensing all that into a single shot and getting an extra multiplier against scrakes.

Go all Left path with skills unless the HX25 is your only weapon, then go LLRLL. HX25, M16, and RPG are your best weapons, but the Seal Squeal is pretty good, too. Try to stick with those and you should be good.

Anyone have the data on how the Seal Squeal stacks up against the other trash-cleaners? Like the Seeker Six and M32?

I personally love the weapon and how it handles, and definitely want it as my primary weapon if it stacks up.
