Malwarebytes blocking connection?
Says blocking to i.cubeupload from KFGame.exe when I attempt to join some servers.

just do like all other people do with these types of firewalls/anti viruses, add the exe u want to have access to to the internet in their exception. and done!

Why would KFGame.exe or a KF2 server be attempting to connect to i.cubeupload?

this can happen if u use steam browser frequently from shift tab while ingame, and as far as i know that steam browser has no protection. and it can conflict witht he game trying to connect with a site.

try deleting cache and such from steam settings.
