Good job. Problem solved everyone. Now you all know not to do that.
It's a really good server feature for a community like the Killing Floor 2 one, which I perceive as mostly non-toxic.
Here's my idea.
LOCK difficulties based on perk level and explain to players WHY!
Pros:
-players understand that difficulties work differently in this game
-doesnt ruin higher level games
-scales with the game! higher difficulty, higher exp gain to cancel out the exp needed to level up.
-makes perk leveling slightly harder to do, because they're locked onto their level of difficulty
Cons:
-restricts players who want a bigger challenge
-players must level up to move on to higher difficulties
Idea #2:
Implement the same idea, but instead into a different game mode.
for example: competetive survival
This is the same thing as the normal game, but puts players who are similar in level together, or creates restrictions onto KF2 servers based on what level players are in the server.
This idea is especially good solution for daily missions that require higher difficulties
I honestly dont understand why ppl still cry.
Just like the U.S. government, give up a bit of your rights for security and free benefits!
Well, I understand your point, but higher level games take on average 50 mins sometimes even longer to finish with later rounds containing to upwards of more than 500 zeds. Having a lower level come in to ruin the entire game would be devestating! I'd like to know whats a good way to come to a compromise for all players. I feel that although my method may "annoy" new players, completing certain milestones and leveling up which may earn them additional items would make up for this annoyance
