Killing Floor 2

Stop joining Hell on Earth with low-level perks and stop perk-leveling
Why?

Case 1: You lack important perk skills and bonuses. Your perceived individual skill does not change this fact.

Case 2: You are lacking the expertise with your perk that others who leveled regularly would have.

Thanks!

if hoe was as hard as it should be, people wouldnt enter with low lvl to make it harder and have a proper challenge, in theend, as always, its Tripwire fault

Yes the players blindly joining HOE and maxing their perks in a day, are the kind of players who visit the forum.

Good job. Problem solved everyone. Now you all know not to do that.
I'd also ask all server administrators to enable vote kicking. The times I was kicked because 'friends wanted to play alone or just for fun' is very low in comparison to people actually kicking for a good reason, e. g. level 0 perks joining Hell on Earth and such.

It's a really good server feature for a community like the Killing Floor 2 one, which I perceive as mostly non-toxic.

Its part of life in KF 2. Nothing you can do to stop it unfortunately.

That thing becomes more and more serious. I see so many people below 100hours and they say they are ready for hoe. I got pain in my ass

Uhm...no. just no. It happened in kf1 it happens in kf2' in that case just go away from those players sibce they gonna be dead anyway. However i first test if they are willing to cooperate and like teamwork and if they me and my team dont kick him. But we ofc explain to him the situation. Not everyone is a noob. Some could be kf1 veterans like men tbh im even bored when i play on hard as a lvl 0 didnt even played on normal difficulty haha

I thought really hard about this and I thought about different ways to stop this.
Here's my idea.

LOCK difficulties based on perk level and explain to players WHY!

Pros:
-players understand that difficulties work differently in this game
-doesnt ruin higher level games
-scales with the game! higher difficulty, higher exp gain to cancel out the exp needed to level up.
-makes perk leveling slightly harder to do, because they're locked onto their level of difficulty

Cons:
-restricts players who want a bigger challenge
-players must level up to move on to higher difficulties

Idea #2:
Implement the same idea, but instead into a different game mode.
for example: competetive survival

This is the same thing as the normal game, but puts players who are similar in level together, or creates restrictions onto KF2 servers based on what level players are in the server.

This idea is especially good solution for daily missions that require higher difficulties

that could work....also they can increase difficulty for that , and give like a guaranteed reward after finishing it successfully : D

Just like the U.S. government, give up a bit of your rights for security and free benefits!

Locking levels per difficulty would just annoy new players, to anyone suggesting it. Especially if they’re already very good at shooters and they’re forced to play Normal difficulty. Everyone progresses through games differently and learn things at different paces.

Yep. Also think about once someone has a couple hundred hours and most perks maxed. They wouldn't want to level their last few perks on normal, probably not even hard.

Well, I understand your point, but higher level games take on average 50 mins sometimes even longer to finish with later rounds containing to upwards of more than 500 zeds. Having a lower level come in to ruin the entire game would be devestating! I'd like to know whats a good way to come to a compromise for all players. I feel that although my method may "annoy" new players, completing certain milestones and leveling up which may earn them additional items would make up for this annoyance
