The weapon base stats are pretty meaningless. It's the perk/level boost for the weapons that matters.

The question still stands. Perk boost included, what would be the highest DPS.

Most likely Magnum or deagels from a slinger.

There is probably a spreadsheet around somewhere, but until there are some real numbers, seems we have to guess. It also seems like weapons have different effectiveness on different enemies for example FP, Scrake, Pat, Volter..

Raygun, Magnums also do decent damage.

Too many variables to give a single definate answer.

Lol you can give multiple answers if someone actually sat down to calculate it out.

What's highest for Hans. What's highest for pat, etc.

http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=740897435 There's this guide, but I have no idea how accurate it is.

AK-12's burst fire, Railgun, RPG, C4, Boomstick, Eviserator and Dual Magnums come to mind, but as other people have said it largely depends on what you're shooting because of resistances.

I really should just sit down and write a small program or something. Lol instead of having to recalculate these values every time haha

Hard to say I mean rackem up with a railgun to max pretty sure decapitates any zed that exists, lots of variables tho.

As people have state many variable affect the answer.
Such as does the enemy move, block, or just stand there.
How about reload cancel? Perk skill loadout?
Or instead of being lazy and askin the community, you can go do the calculations.
All the information is publicly availabe on the wiki.

I love how people keep dissing OP's question because they can't be arsed to do it. Which is fine, but it doesn't make the question itself stupid.

Yes, because god forbid you ask ppl questions on a discussion board.
Highest DPS possible would be with a reload canceled railgun.

Yes, but you could also try to be helpful.

Or maybe instead of being an ass maybe you can actually contribute to the discussion? Or maybe that seems alien to you.
