Highest Playable Ping?
Hey guys. I just bought the game and I'm wondering what is the highest playable ping in KF2 because I have a pretty slow internet. I get sometimes around 250-500 ping on playing other games like l4d2 & dbd. I was supposed to ask this before I buy the game but it wont allow me to post a discussion.

I personally don't like anything over a 100 with 150 being my max. Anything over 200 for me is unplayable.

This is more of a personal thing isn't? I always filter below 100, and if I'm desperate, below 150. Nothing higher because the shot delay is too unnatural for me.

Anything above 400 is bad. Less than 200 is the best. So it's playable from 0 to 350.

Anything is playable, playable at your best is a different story. You'll notice a delay at around 160 more or less. Could cause you to die.

100 or less. 50 is ideal. Anything higher than 100 is unplayable.

100 ping makes me think back to counterstrike beta days, there's no excuse good enough for a ping higher than 75 in 2017

well its just the delay. I've played with 600 ping and been fine. you shoot a zed, half a second later the zed dies.

Kf2 has lag compensation, so its possible to play railgun sharpshooter and be fine. In august i had bad internet connection and lag spikes up to 700 miliseconds, and i even won some games and was ok with killing scrakes with a railgun at 600 700ping, even if it was a slideshow sometimes. But after 200 miliseconds it becomes noticable.

250 is the max acceptable ping before it gets unplayable, as long as its a fixed value, you will be ok.
But if it keeps jumping all over the place then online gaming is not for you.

This is agreeable.

100+ is unplayable
gibberish names with 300 ping crowding european weeklies are a menace

I refuse to play with over 50 ping on this game. 10-25 is ideal.

< 50 perfect.
I've found 50-150 is very playable in this game.
Above 150 it starts to get laggy depending on conditions and how many high pings are inserver.
Some players can play above 150 to about 225,
I use spectater mode to decide in this range.(its easy to see them laggin)
After 225 packet loss starts degrading the server and the room starts to feel it.
