KF2 Cosmetic Economy Guide...
Hi can anyone point me towards a guide that explains how to navigate the Weapon Skins and Cosmetic Gear store and crafting? I'd like to know things like which is better to do with low level items, Recycle or Sell for a penny? Also are buying the keys and playing the RNG game better/cheaper in the long run to get skins. Things of this nature so I can play the market if you will for sweet sweet skins the cheapest and with the least guess work.

Thanks in advance!

There is no guide for such a thing to my wit. I will however leave you with this;

You play some matches. Maybe hope for a good drop. You get battle-scarred / Field-tested / whatever. If you like it keep it. Try to sell it if you can check the prices in the community market.
Or you can gamble and clutter inventory by crafting. Definently recycle the usb's [Worthless.] unless you plan on opening them. No such thing as guide. More like the new thing will always be the 'in' thing. The high thing. Learn peoples taste. What do they like? Would which item sell more?

It takes 10 guns to upgrade to a better one. Common guns on average sell for about 3 cents USD, so getting a mid class gun from crafting costs about 30 cents.
And then you can sell the gun for 15 cents lul. If you're trying to make a profit, sell your trash. But if you don't care feel free to throw 3 cents in the fire for a chance to win the lottery.
Cosmetics are about the same in that regard.

In most Steam games with chests (TF2, CS:GO, KF2) it's not worth unboxing stuff. Killing Floor 2 is probably the worst in that regard. Anything that isn't beyond the third tier (pink tier) will usually yield diminishing returns. (30 cents for blue skins and a dollar or so for purple ones) If you unbox some Factory New Pink tier you can make a profit, but Field Tested and below will at most just refund you.
Cosmetics are an even worse trade off with even the rares selling at about $2. Emotes though... Emotes all sell at a fairly good price of at least around a dollar. And if you can get the SFX emotes then you can make a fat stack off of them.

Oh and as for the golden "Precious" items... If you somehow find one, don't expect to sell it anytime soon. Most don't have a cosmetic they adore enough to get in gold, and no one is crazy enough to get a golden gun which no one will ever see.
