It's a community bug,there isn't multi,or if there is,it's heavily modded and buggy as hell

Euro Truck Simulator 2 has a multiplayer mod that's very stable and popular, but that's for Euro Truck Sim 2, not this game.

To the best of my knowledge, this game doesn't have it.

Good news is that for the next couple of hours it's still very cheap with 80% off :)

Do you not play multiplayer with the game, you can buy the second game with multiplayer

There is actually a multiplayer mod for ETS1: http://simulatormods.com/euro-truck-simulator/euro-truck-multiplayer-mod/

I've never tried it however and I expect that it would be dead anyway if it does work. Try at your own risk!
