Xbox controller issues

So, the controller works partially for this game, you just can't use the triggers or sticks. Say I wanted to accerate with RT. If there is a way, I'm not seeing it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

worked for me. Acceleration axis, I pushed the trigger, and it accepted it. same for the steering axis. Beyond the basic steering controls, it was a bit problematic for me as well, the sticks don't seem to work for those, but for steering they should be just fine.
