German vs UK vs Euro Truck Simulator

I have played Euro Truck Simulator and know for a fact that the map includes UK and Germany. So, what does the other two games offer?

Gts and Ukts offer much more detailed but country specified map with more cities, better graphics, and more truck types. They are better than Ets1, but Ets2 made them unnecessary.

Any idea why they are not on steam?

I think because Ets2 gives everything better and those two titles are very poorly optimized and run bad on modern computers.

they are newer than ETS, and run just as good. I doubt they don't have it on steam because of that. Must be something else.

I quite liked UK Truck sim. Mainly because of the better graphics

In ETS you can travel all over Europe. In GTS only in Germany and Austrian with the Austrian Edition and in UKTS only England. There are more cities in GTS and UKTS. In ETS there are only 3 cities in Germany. Much more in GTS. The handling is better in UKTS and GTS. In GTS and UKTS there are also a few licensed truck brands such as MAN or DAV. But I can recommend all games. I would get in your place all the pieces one by one. The games are not really expensive :)
