If we are doing the size game, then add this to the list
KMQuake[www.markshan.com] (10.3MB base package without support files for mission packs or Coop Or Die) + Quake II + Mission Packs Soundtracks in Ogg (79.8MB) KMQuake is focused towards mappers (it includes Lazarus mod), with features such as large map support, texture transparency, light blooms, texture glows, projected shadows, decals and 2560x1080 ultra-wide video mode.
And supports High Resolution Texture Packs.
Hi! I might be a little late with this reply, but oh well, maybe others will use it... I just started playing Quake 2 (again) with the Berserker mod and the same thing was happening to me on 1920 x 1080 resolution with every weapon even in the normal game, so i made a thread about it[quakegate.ru] on their forum.
Berserker was awesome and made a fix for it right away - it's a game.dll file which you can download here[files.mail.ru] and then simply overwrite the file in the baseq2 folder with it. I can confirm it working on the Berserker mod, but maybe it will also work with the ultimate patch, if that problem still exists... just be sure to back up your original game.dll file first in case it doesn't work.
Just a heads up, keep fraggin' them Stroggs :)
