also the issues like scripting will probably be fixed over time
and the fact they have the originals still available makes it even better if I want to play them (same with how they did it with doom and quake)
What do you mean by keeping your money? It's a free update.
The fiend from quake 1 says hello. This is actually a very nice change, because the berserker in the original was less dangerous than the basic blaster soldier.
Although I think it would be nice if all the changes could be turned on and off freely - from remastered music to enemies, just like in the accessibility options, so that everyone can adjust the amount of new stuff.
I agree 100% that the railgun has been nerfed beyond imagination and seems useless even on easy. I dont know why they messed with the weaponry, which is one of the best-balanced ones ever created in fps games.

-It has an official port of QII 64. This one has had shoddy emulation for years and not as much fun playing on a controller.
-They seem to have fixed many of the issues I had with the Ground Zero expansion pack. I always hated many of the design decisions with a lot of the gimicky weapons, but they seem to actually work properly now. Haven't gotten far though so don't know if the wall turrets are still an obnoxious issue.
