Need help searching for new Player Models and sound packs

Can anyone guide me to a resource for getting new player models and soundpacks for Quake 2? Every place i search for seems to of been unavailable and there are only a few on Moddb. I remember there being hundreds out there?

WOW! Just wow! This is amazing work. Recovered polycount assets is beyond my hope. You've done a good thing here sir. I cant wait to go through these!
