Enemies take no damage in their stagger animation.
Am I crazy ? Is this suppose to be like that ? I haven't played for 20 years.
I've hit enemies dead on twice point blank with double shotgun. Yet they continue on.
Then they die on the 4th hit immediately cause it's not their normal animation again.

If this was always like that, then its a horrible mechanic. I gotta wait to do damage to them.

I dunno, I replayed the original game on my retro PC just a few months ago and so far enemy damage feels the same, other than lesser railgun damage.

Gunners and Berserkers with Super Shotgun.
Maybe it's a breakpoint thing. 2 shots kills a Berserker, but I guess I'm missing pellets and then it's 3 or 4. I'm pretty damn close to them though. Kind of ridiculous how the pellets miss then.

Just a weird feedback of damage. 1 shot staggers them, I continue shooting, but the next shot won't stagger them any more. They just attack through the damage, because they can't be staggered twice. Very unintuitive to play.

Yup tested shooting them reeeeally close. Was missing shots before.
I'm used to stagger states in Vermintide 2.

I'm seeing weirdness with some enemies where point-blank SSG shots are doing variable damage. It's only rarely that I'll two-shot a berserker, even being literally pressed against him with nothing but his bounding box filling up my screen.
