Why is the community ignoring Juggernaut mods? What was the rumors back in the day which created a permanent memories today?

I do know that weapon & sound replacement is is bad, but we can be reset back default, right?

Some boring enemies placement can be bad, but it can be done quick in coop play, right?

What else is bad? I mean low quality...

I wouldnt know sadly, I never played Juggernaut directly but from video some of the level design seems to be not very good, im more neutral on it but I can see why people would ignore it.

Actually, I loved the level design and layout. Foreign feel. Somewhat different from other FPS games in that era.

It looks really, really janky but in a good kind of way. Reminds me of Daikatana and the voiceovers paired with the cinematics are quite endearing, it's interesting.

Could be cool to have it in the remaster if they add more content.

Juggernaut had some good ideas but poor execution. The new skins and models are interesting, Borg-like troopers, some exotic alien animals, strange mutant apes, but they mostly lack proper animation and new sounds. Levels are interesting, but many areas feel rushed, in some cases even repeatedly copy-pasted.

The words "My Abandoware" is very personal & subjective, I would label it "Dusty Completed game" after finish playing them in so many years.

For new player today in 2023, might be disappointed, because newcomer will compare it with the past experience with ton of games in those years.

Oh, but "abandoware" only refers to a piece of software that has been "abandoned" by their IP owners and is not being selled directly in any (physical or virtual) market. My Abandoware, however, is the name of a site known for hosting said pieces of media but the links are replaced for those of a store once it becomes officialy available again.

It's a great effort in game preservation in my opinion.
