Does the game run on Modern System ???
As question stated, I really missed Quake, one of my first FPS back in the days when I was still a kid, saw my Bro playing it and I fell in love with it.
Now I was wondering will Quake II even run on Modern System even it does, will it be flawless ? I don't mind bad graphics and all, since it is an old game, but can you actually complete the game wihtout issues ??

Here's my system specs if it matters.

Windows 7 64-BIT SP1
Asus P8Z77-M
i5 3550 @ 3.3Ghz
Corsair 16GB Vengeane RAM @ 1600mhz
Sapphire Fury Nitro 4GB HBM
Asus Xonar DG 5.1 Soundcard
W.D 1TB HDD ( I most probably be installing and running it via HDD )
Transcend 370SSD 128GB ( OS only )
Seasonic P-860 860W Platinum PSU

I'm currently on Crimson Software 16.5.3.

Go to the KMQuake site -- http://www.markshan.com/knightmare/ and get the download patch and copy to the Quake 2 folder in Steam.
Works great on Windows 10 64 bit with my system.

I wanted the In-Game Soundtrack

I think with the Patch if not mistaken, you can go above 1080p.

With the KMquake2 patch you will have the soundtrack along with widescreen settings.
I've downloaded and installed the Patch etc, everything is working, but still no music.
Something I missed ??

O sorry that I forgot to update, actually I got the music to work, I had to look for a separate music file just download it and paste it in the folder and it works.
