... and thank you for all your work.
Cheers to you as well for cheering the guy for announcing the work of an other guy.
Cheers mates :P
when i start Yamagi Quake 2 via the respective .exes in the Quake 2 folder (yquake2.exe/quake2.exe), i get a "Windows protected your PC"-alert.
when starting the game through Steam i dont get the alert.
i guess that is just because the altered .exes are of unknown origin to Windows?
oh, another thing with Yamagi: it does not seem to care about the resolution i set the game to, when fullscreen is activated.
as soon as i set the game to fullscreen, the resolution sets itself to "auto".
id like to run the game fullscreen but with a 720p resolution, which would be enough on my laptop and conserve battery... i dont even know what resolution the game is running when in auto-mode - i guess the screens native resolution of 1080p?
it is if you get it from github and not from some weird site or link
i didnt get it from github, i got it from "https://www.yamagi.org" - which should be safe, i guess.
im propably overly paranoid, its just, since i got back into PC-gaming my only machine to game on is the laptop im doing most other things on too.
how do experienced PC-gamers do it, btw?
gaming (and modding, etc..) on a computer that is solely dedicated to gaming, with the only personal information the logins to the different online stores?
or do you guys precheck the mod-files through things like virustotal? and if so is that enough?
