This release matches the 30th birthday of LBA1, so maybe LBA2 remake will also release on its 30th birthday, hence 2027.
LBA1 was made pretty quickly, but as you said, LBA2 is far bigger and the open world is fully 3D.
Unless they remake LBA2 in the structure of LBA1 (let's pray they don't), it'll probably take at least 2 years.
