Does the game still load extra slow, if you download too many characters from the community?

This is the central issue that I'm wondering about. A great many critiques/concerns from last year (and the year before that... and the year before that...) have been addressed, which is super promising imo. But this one issue - the "load times getting progressively longer until eventually instability results" problem - is the one thing I need to know has been addressed before I can consider diving in.

Exactly. I remember downloading like 20 CAWs, and all load screens were like 2 or more minutes. They REALLY need to get that fixed.

Exactly. I remember downloading like 20 CAWs, and all load screens were like 2 or more minutes. They REALLY need to get that fixed.

Another user mentioned downloading 20+ CAWs and not running into this issue this time around, and they seemed to indicate it was fixed. That would be great news, if so. I hope that turns out to be consistent for everyone. Let me know if you ever play. I'm trying to get a decent crossection of people to test it and let me know if possible.

Does Universe Mode with a full compliment of custom shows work properly? E.g. long load times notwithstanding, is it stable? Do the shows appear and run as they should? Do things like rivalries, loyalty, custscenes, etc. all happen as they should or are they buggy or counterintuitive (e.g. invisible wrestlers in cutscenes, people who should be aligned fighting for no reason, etc.)? Just trying to get a handle on how all this is this year.

Yikes. Yeah I recall that being a thing in the past games too. I seem to also recall matches in custom arenas with CAWs taking a very very long time to load as well. Is that the case this year?

That's concerning. So, one person here already shared there experience with this, but if you download a lot of CAWs (20, 30, etc.) does the initial load when booting the game become progressively longer and introduce instability? Or is that fixed this year in your game as well, as it was for the other poster? Just trying to confirm whether it's truly addressed for everyone or at least more than one user lol.

Damn this sounds all bad. I really need to know about the CAWs, before buying. I don't mind the custom arenas and such.

I have downloaded 96 caws, and it's almost impossible to play my rise and showcase mode

this depends on your system on 2k23 i have a full roster of 99 caws and load times are still normal

I had 80 wrestlers and custom match+arena and the loading was too long, 40 second minimum to 2 min loadings. I reduced them to 16 and deleted the match and it is normal again.
