Iron Survivor match would be great!
Gauntlet options (Rising ability level vs randoms, damage retention, submission only etc etc..)
40/50 man Royal Rumble.. why is it not there? we know it doesn't work IRL, but this is a game!
I’d like iron survivor instead of making a 4-8 way Ironman match which is as close to it as I can make.
I would love the Punjabi prison and inferno matches to be in
New ambulance match is good haven’t seen one in a while win by putting opponent in the back shut the door and drive out of the arena correct?
Thats all i ask for.
Sifting through uploaded content takes forever due to the load-times.
And I really, REALLY hope that performance in the character-creator is improved.
It seems like no matter how much I upgrade my PC before launch, the character-creator always runs like garbo. I'm assuming it's some game-engine limitation with loading assets.
Universe mode feels dead. There should be random back stage interviews, imagine you finish a match and then a wrestler you created is on the screen all of a sudden doing an interview for his debut match, or a champion is doing an interview and it gets interrupted by someone calling them out for a shot at the strap, or a brawl breaks out between stables in the back. You need those moments to throw a curve ball into the mix and keep it interesting
mixed gender matches should be a thing
Mixed gender tag team matches need a belt if theyre still a thing in the game, whats the point of having guy/girl teams if theres no belt for them to win?
More creation suite space. i have two 4 tb ssd's i dont understand why im limited to how much can be stored. Again im not a dev so maybe it isnt possible but if so please give me more storage slots
the ability to edit stables in the main menu and they carry over into universe mode. It would be so nice to make the legion of doom 1 time, put them in a stable , create their entrance and finish and be done with it for good and they automatically go into my universe saves . Twice in each years game my universe saves corrupted, so a total of 3 times i had to put tag teams together, my final universe mode i didnt even bother making custom entrances because it takes forever so i just turned entrances off all together.
I'd love to see a lot of GM Mode features integrated into the Universe Mode.
Promos, power-cards, competition between the other shows, it'd be awesome.
And yes, intergender matches need to make a comeback someday- but every time there's a new Chris Benoit / Alberto Del Rio / Vince McMahon scandle, they revert back to being terrified of any negative press.
1. What I still expect to see is an improvement in AI, because I never felt challenged fighting against AI in any game mode, even on Legend difficulty, and new match types like Inferno match, I Quit match. etc.
2. I want my career mode to become like NBA 2K or something like Street Fighter 6 online mode already has. It means aside from a scripted story, your character can free-roam in the backstage while other players are there with their characters too, so you go with them and talk with them and make groups for matches like tag team or fatal 4-way matches, etc.
Also, WWE 2k18 my career free-roam, made me very excited at first it was introduced, but it was very pointless after playing it myself. So just in the way that WWE 2K19 and WWE 2K22 illustrate my career story, but instead of surfing on the phone and calling people, let players free-roam on backstage and talk with rosters in person, plus choice matters and multiple ending abilities.
3. I want a more complete backstage, like combining garage areas, offices, parking, and the most important crossing in the middle of a crowd.
4. I want some rank mode and events for online mode, plus cross-play, and prevent players from customizing their wrestlers in competitive modes.
5. The new camera angle, which has been modified since WWE 2K22, has one advantage and one disadvantage. The disadvantage is that it's not the real TV show that we see on WWE shows. The advantage is that it feels more like a fighting game, the same as UFC games, etc. So adding the previous camera WWE 2K games used to have is also necessary and lets players choose the view like FIFA games.
6. I want 2K to give players more open hands in customizing wrestlers, like some wrestlers who are retired, like Andrea the Giant, Goldberg, Rick Flair, Vince McMahon, Stone Cold, Brock Lesnar, etc. Every year they have the exact same attire and moves in WWE 2K games, so I want players to be able to customize wrestlers, like making multiple versions of John Cena, The Rock, Bobby Lashley, Triple H, Undertaker, Randy Orton, etc., and if their customization is valuable, 2K will officially add their characters to the game. Same as what Valve did to players workshop maps for Left 4 Dead 2.
7. And most importantly, companies that release their games every year, like FIFA, the NBA, and Call of Duty, need to reconsider their plans. It's not about cash every year; I already have no issue paying for my favorite game yearly, but it's about developers who release every year who wouldn't have enough time to add enough things to their games. 2K skipped 2K21, and 2K22 became new engines. Same as 2K23 didn't have anything to catch my attention, but this year they came with so many new things. So, releasing every couple years will help to increase the quality, while personally, I have no issues with paying for another DLC (year pass) for the new year.
Yeah, I think this is my absolute #1 dream-addition to this franchise.
I think they've been in something of a slump when it comes to updating Universe Mode with meaningful changes, and I feel like adding backstage politics, drama, and general interactions would make the Universe Mode feel much more alive.
I want to be able to go backstage, walk up to Otis and tell him "Congrats on the good match earlier" and get some sort of "Otis liked that!" notification, then walk up to Grayson Waller and call him a kangaroo and get roped into a match later that night.
It would make rivalries/friendships feel much more genuine and not so random, and it would add more to the gameplay aside from "watch intro, fight, watch outro", rinse and repeat.
Smackdown 2 had the backstage drama and it doesn't involve the player. I want that too, I don't want to force everything to happen, its fun when it happens around you and you get to choose do you to want to try and getting yourself involved in it too. Or be the next ones on their list if some faction is creating controversy about beating up someone else. After they beat em up, do you want to challenge them or do nothing while they go takeover superstar after superstar.
Also, people asking for help in the older games too.
Say Trish is tired of getting bullied by Bianca, she wants me to go with her out to her next match and help out.
At the very least, they need to make the lesser-used scenes more common.
I feel like for every season in WWE Universe Mode, there's 50 occurrences of the after-match handshake cutscene, and almost nothing else.
