Can't name planets

I've run into an issue on several occasions where I discover a planet that has the base number code (i.e unnamed), but I never get the option to name it myself. I've tried refreshing the map but that dosn't seem to do any good. This has happened several times now and is really starting to annoy me. Has anyone else run into this issue or am I just missing somthing?

Do the names have a "/" in them? I ran into this once early on, it seems that sometimes planets get named by other players with the "/" and code-ish name, which is misleading as to if it's already been discovered or not. How many times has this occurred?

I went back to look at where I ran into the and the whole area is now surounded by player names abliet the few coded ones I ran into. So i'm going to have to chalk it up to a player. Ah well. Kinda feels like a trollish way to name planets though...

Ah yeah, it kinda is, frankly I wouldn't expect troll-types to be playing this game but seems I might be wrong in that assumption :P
