How similar is this to Gunbound?

I played Gunbound a lot about 10 years ago, and this looks very similar. Is it?

It was inspired by gunbound. Main difference is this game is in REAL TIME. No waiting for turns. Best way to check it out is to see my friend live streaming it: http://www.twitch.tv/greysphere

It isnt very similar to gunbound.. which was much more a classic artillery/worms game. The real time aspect makes it rather frenzy and hectic.

There is a heavy ressource/timer management component makes it rather special, but I really like it so far as an old worms 1 veteran.

I'm looking at the wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GunBound

And it says it was released in 2006. How could you have played it 10 years ago? Is it the same game?

I guess I played it a lot in 2004 or 2005. Maybe even 2003!

I don't think it feels like Gunbound much, beyond the concept of artillery firing. Being in real time changes the dynamic a lot and the focus is more on making fast decisions over precision or trick shots.
