Yes, recommended with a heavy sense of "hmm." The art is lovely and the twist is delicious, but the gameplay is a bit slow (narratively, and there are a lot of times you have to double back on dialogue to get something else to click) and many of the chores/quests are incredibly finicky about order. (Also, the tales you can collect from the wood spirit are...questionable at best in the realm of fae/forest stories.)

The quartets game as a sub-play thread is lovely and I was glad of the opportunity to play that with various NPCs. My love forever for de Hoto and Plato. I think this game has great characters and a solid storyline but it being a point-and-click kind of undermines its power.
