One button light/laser activation

[STUFF MY ASS WITH DRYER SHEETS]

Please, for the love of God, let me activate my lights and lasers with my offhand while I have both hands on my gun. The first game did this very smoothly.

all with off-hand : press X ( assumed offhand is left hand ) and then fire while close to laser/light

Yes, I know that. That's dumb. I should not have to take my left hand off my gun to switch on a light. I'm quite literally holding a pistol with a light on it right now; when I hold it with both hands I use my support hand thumb to actuate the light.
