Stupid question but how to put on armor plates
I have been trying for like 15 minutes and nothing. Please tell me if I am just retarted or is it not possible yet.

Well there's plate carriers in the middle of that chest rig/backpack area. Pick one up and grab a plate. If you bring it to the front of the plate carrier, the plate will sort of jump into it. Or highlight and release. I did it once and haven't played with them since that.

Maybe a goofy oversight you did but it got me thinking about something. I wonder if you can hold up the plate to deflect shots... Probably not. That would be cool though. Almost useless, but cool.

I'd wondered the same thing about the backpack. I've been shot at while reloading mags and the bullets do interact with the items on it. Makes me want to float a plate in the backpack and see if they deflect.

Hold your chest rig in front of you and slide the plate in from the inside. In it is not very obvious, I also tried until I found out more or less by accident.

As far as I can tell it makes no difference anymore. Went through several firefights using my backpack as cover. Had four plates in it and nothing seemed to happen.
