Into the Radius 2

Into the Radius 2

I'm struggling to get to security level two
Maybe I'm struggling because I'm on hard mode :lukasLaugh: but these mfers are wearing body armor and I have no scoped weapons at all. If only I could get a mosin nagant. I'm guessing they want to me to kit out a shotgun with slugs.

It's the mission with the Sensors, right?
Are you at the Train Station, or where do you run into trouble?

Hey I was able to reach security level 2 a couple days ago (im now security level 3). You just gotta complete the TOP mission and if you're using a pistol such as the Psh-18 just aim for the heads, as hard as that may be you just gotta practice your aim. Sadly the shooting range isn't done yet so I would recommend focusing on other missions and practice your aim during those missions if you encounter any hostile entity plus you get to earn credits on the side. Good luck explorer.

Oh another note: Once you get to Security level 2 I would recommend investing in armor and a suppressor. If you played Into the radius 1 you'll know how important having a suppressor is for all weapons as well as armor, the vest is what i would invest in first before the helmet as your body is a larger target than the head, chances of ever getting killed with a head shot is rare but never zero. Then upgrade your pistol to the G-18C (9x19) best pistol in the game on my opinion.

Anyone else had trouble, just got to get gud at shooting these guys in the head as they lay down tons of firepower on me?

Well the entity with the armor that you encounter are shooting at you with guns of a higher caliber such as the 12x70 (shotgun), 7.62 (AK) and some rarely use the 5.56 that I have yet to encounter. They deal more damage to the player as compared to your 9x18 just like into the radius 1. They have yet to add armor piercing ammo which I hope they will be adding to the game but as of now both the regular and tracer ammunition for 9x18 do the same amount of damage and there is no difference in the two other than one obvious advantage of the tracer rounds being you can see them fly out the gun. There is a disavatange of using tracer rounds with the silencer and if you miss your target they'll know where you are even if you're quite a distance apart.

Cover is your friend. If you're in the open and in close range you are going to get tore up fast. On the other hand, its entirely possible to beat every available mission using only the Makarov.

I learned the hard way. This game is much more focused on firefights. The best I have come up with is get a sniper rifle or at least an ak with a reflex sight/red dot as early as possible. Shotguns are worthless, especially the first two shotguns with only two shots. Get a better handgun and get the attachment rail for the laser pointer and a reflex sight/ red dot. Once you have good equipment use cover alot if you find yourself in a short to mid range fight with multiple enemies. Hole up in a building or time the enemy reloading and try to move closer if you can again using strategic cover moving. I was dying fairly frequently until I realized I wasn't playing ITR 1 anymore and altered my style to high action cover based gunfights.
