Missing Gasmask.

After save/quitting with the mask in the dedicated backpack slot, I loaded back in to play and later realize the mask had vanished. I haven't played since the update on the 7th, but the patch notes didn't mention this.

Can you sell masks in the shop once they're unlocked through gameplay, so in case they're lost we can recover them? I don't know any way I can interact with the distortion fields currently without it.

Loving the game so far, can't wait for new areas to explore!

There is a top priority quest in which the first gas mask must be handed in. You can then buy a new one in the shop.

After doing what I said above, I've since played about 6 hours or so. I still couldn't find the mask anywhere, nor in the shop.

After it's handed in, do you immediately unlock in the shop?, Or is there a different quest that then unlocks it later?

I might just have to restart which isn't like the biggest deal, but if it's working fine for everyone else I'll restart and see what happens another time.
